There is a pub/restaurant on site which is open each evening. Plymouth is an easy drive along the main A38 from Liskeard, the nearest town to the bungalow. Dobwalls Theme Park is about a 5 minute drive away. Sibleyback Lake is not much further and other very local attractions include Carnglaze Caverns and Golitha Falls. Looe and Polperro are the closest coastal villages, about 9-10 miles away. The northern coast, including Rock and Padstow can be reached within 40 minutes. For the golfers, the famous St.Mellion Course is about 20 minutes away and other local courses include Launceston, Lanhydrock, Lostwithiel, Looe and St. Austell. For heritage, many visitors travel to the Lost Gardens of Heligan and Cotehele. The western side of Dartmoor and the town of Tavistock are within an hour by car.
